Mark
Smith joined Kinnear Financial in 2010 as the Accounting Manager. Mark is
primarily involved in accounting and financial reporting functions for
Caledonian Royalty Corporation. Since joining Kinnear Financial, Mark has
implemented the accounting policies and controls for Caledonian Royalty
Corporation leading to the creation of the first set of audited financial
statements which were released to investors in 2010. Mark is actively
involved in both the domestic and international royalty ventures at Kinnear
Financial.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Applied Business Degree and obtained the Certified
General Accountant designation in 2005. Over the past seven years, he has
held operational accounting, treasury and financial accounting positions in
Calgary’s oil and gas sector. He has worked for both domestic and
international publicly-traded and privately-held oil and gas companies. His
diverse work experience in the oil and gas sector will allow him to grow and
adapt with the evolving royalty opportunities at Kinnear Financial.
